About West loop

Directly West of the bustling city center is any foodie’s paradise, known as the West Loop. Originally part of Chicago’s meat-packing district, the neighborhood clings to its industrial and culinary history. After a huge building boom consisting of modern high rises and renovated warehouses turned lofts, the West Loop quickly became a highly sought-after residential area. With its proximity to the expressway and train stations, traveling to the suburbs and beyond is a breeze.

Most known for “restaurant row”, the West Loop offers residents endless options for a coffee hangout, brunch with friends, or romantic dinner date night with some of the best bars and restaurants in the city. Located in the center of the neighborhood is Fulton Market, another foodie destination with eatery-lined streets that also feature art galleries and boutique shops.

The neighborhood also hosts the year-round Randolph Street Market. Perouse the warehouse for antiques, art, jewelry, food, and music. In the summer months, the market extends outside as well and features live music and pop up bars!
